Welcome to the Victory Chapel Website!
We are here to speak to you "all the
words" regarding new life in Christ.
Full salvation!
The cross of Christ holds the promise of forgiveness of sins, healing for sickness and deliverance from captivity!
Christianity is not simply morals, lofty intentions, or noble thoughts, the most prominent characteristic of this life is POWER!. This is what we want to proclaim to you, this power!
It is popular these days to hear that God forgives unconditionally, but God does not continue to forgive when there is no response on our part! No wonder so many so-called Christians lack power!
God's wrath remains to those who harden their hearts and refuse salvation. There is no way into the power and deep things of God without a broken spirit!
The first, and most important step to take is to pray. If you sincerely want to experience life transforming power pray this prayer.
Dear Lord, I'm a sinner. Please forgive me. Come into my life and cleanse me of my unbelief. I believe in you and in salvation through the shed blood of Jesus.
I turn from sin and trust in Jesus alone as my Savior. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

We encourage you to find a church to support you in your walk with Christ. If you live in the Portland area we'd be happy to make you a part of our church family!

So how much do you have to hate somebody not to proselytize?

Jillette Penn of Penn and Teller is an atheist. His response to being evangelized after a show may actually surprise you. "I don't respect people who don't Proselytize. It you believe that there's a heaven and a hell, and people could be going to hell, and you think, "Well, it's not really worth telling them this because it would make it socially awkward....How much do you have to hate somebody not to proselytize?"
